هرگاه پيامبر يكي از اصحاب را سه روز نمی ديد، درباره او سوال مي‌كرد؛ اگر آن فرد در شهر نبود برايش دعا مي‌كرد، اگر حضور داشت به ديدن او مي‌رفت و اگر مريض بود از او عيادت می كرد.

Whenever the Prophet did not see one of the companions for three days, he would ask about him; if that person was not in the city, he would pray for him, if he was present, he would go to meet him, and if he was sick, he would visit him.
